Another busy week of hard tiring work that just goes on and on? Well now's your time to kick back, relax and have a chilled out weekend. In this post I am going to be showing you some of the ways that generally help people to relax and feel more at ease so that you can go back to working hard on Monday as right as rain.
Camomile tea is the number one herbal drink for helping me get to sleep, camomile tea is associated with increasing your levels of glycine, this is a chemical that relaxes muscled and nerves and acts as a mild sedative. So if your in need for a deep sleep than camomile tea is your best bet.
Eating lots of food can result in the dropping of energy levels helping you to get to sleep more easily, this is due to the fact that eating processed food containing high levels of sugar causes a rise in blood sugar levels, followed by a drop, which results in low energy levels.
What really relaxes me is a nice hot bath with a Yankee candle lit on the side to get the fresh aroma spreading around the bathroom, I never really have baths but when I do I feel very relaxed afterwards and of course the scent of a good candle tends to elevate my mood.
Honey can be really good if your feeling down in the dumps, it provides compounds that reduce inflammation of the brain, fighting depression and anxiety. As well as this honey is a good moisturiser for skin and an antibiotic.
Dropping water onto your wrists and behind your ears can help you to calm down as directly under the skin in these places there are major arteries and so cooling these areas can help to cool down the entire body.
I hope that you found this post helpful, hopefully now you'll be able to wind down fast and have a chilled out weekend.
