Hello everyone, here we are... another season, once again. Turning from warm rays of sunshine to cold icy storms.
Now, as we may know the weather conditions tend to change when seasons change. As we are moving into august and it's starting to get a little bit colder we may, start wearing our beanies instead of our flower garlands, or coats instead of cardigans.
But, What about skincare?
I have put together some of the perfect items throughout skincare that will keep us nice and nourished ready for the cold!

I have put together some of the perfect items throughout skincare that will keep us nice and nourished ready for the cold!
The items selected here are creamy, nourishing and leave your skin as smooth as a babies bottom! Five out of six of the items are perfectly affordable too.
So, now... I'm going to talk about each individual skincare product and how they will keep you going through Autumn and Winter

First up we have Soap & Glory's 'Sugar Crush' fresh and foamy body wash, lime scented. I love this body wash because it is so creamy but still fresh at the same time. It keeps your skin nice and soft with it's skin softening omega-rich veggie oil, but fresh and zingy with it's lime oil and kiwi juice water. I simply rub this body wash all over my body and rinse it away, fro that fresh brand new feeling. I buy this body wash from boots for £6.50 and it's a massive bottle of 500ml. It's just simply the ZEST! |
My next little savior is Vaseline's 'Spray & Go' body moisturizer in aloe fresh. I use this moisturizer straight after washing and in the mornings ready for a smooth day! I particularly love this moisturizer because it takes seconds to apply and rub in. You don't even have to dip your finger in the pot, because... well... there is no pot! It's designed as a deodorant bottle and all you have to do is spray on the contents. It's a triple layer moisturizer and stops those nasty dry patches appearing on your skin! I buy this again from boots for £5.99, it doesn't really last very long considering you get 190ml, but is still super fab and definitely worth it! |
Next up we have these two adorable little lippies from a brand called 'B Skincare', all of their items are handmade in cornwall and I have kindly been sent to feature these cuties on my blog.
Both lip balms leave your lips soft and help to fight against that horrible #chappedlips moment.
Any lip balm is good really but the balms from 'B Skincare' go an incredibly long way and you get 15ml of lip balm for only £3.50, my one word is BARGAIN!

If your not into the whole new spray on moisturizer hype and like to stick to the good old fashioned way then I present to you, The Body Shop's 'Glazed Apple' body butter. I love the smell of this body butter so much it's like an infusion of sweet apple and fresh cream mixed together, obviously it isn't but that's what it smells like. The Body Shop is against animal testing as-well! The one downside is that you can only buy this moisturizer during the festive season and I cannot remember the price of the product, I cannot currently find it on The Body Shop website but I am certain it will be up soon. |
One of my all time favorites is by a company called 'Brodie Skin Care' and it is their 'Recovery Phase Rehydration cream'. I use this facial moisturizer in cold weather because it forms a barrier around your face protecting and keeping it firm for any storms that are coming it's way. You can buy this moisturizer from their website for £17.95 and you get 50g. There are two types of pot, the pum and a tub version. All together it is a little pricey but if you have dry skin already then i would definitely recommend going out and treating yourself to it. |
And finally we have 'Hand Food' a classic by Soap and glory. I have the cute mini 50 ml hand food, perfect for travelling and retouching dry hands on the go. I hate getting dry hands, it irritates me so much, 'Hand Food' is an extremely creamy formula and you only need a minuscule amount to cover both of your hands. It's soft, light and fluffy formula makes my hands feel nice and smooth. I love the luscious smell of the 'Hand Food' as it is in the original pink fragrance. I buy my 50ml 'Hand Food' from boots for only £2.50! |
