Today I am going to be sharing with you some of the make-up and skincare items that I really have been enjoying recently, I felt that I wanted to do this post because a favourites post always features the best of the best in my opinion and that's definitely what your going to be seeing in this post, so without further-a-do, here are the items that made it to the top of the list:
Firstly I am going to start with the Yves Rocher raspberry and peppermint shower gel and lotion. I am truly in love with the combined scent of raspberry and peppermint, it kind of has that fruity kick alongside a hint of minty freshness, for me it is the perfect combination and I would love if Yves Rocher did a perfume in this scent. My skin felt very fresh after using the shower gel and soothed after using the lotion, I was glad to find a lotion that absorbed into my skin quickly, because most lotions that I have used tend to sit on the surface of my skin until I wash it off.
One thing that really stands out id the Chanel lipstick in the shade Pirate. This lipstick really does steal the show, as well as the packaging looking sleek the lipstick itself is a very bold and bright shade of red, usually I would go for a darker shade of red, simply because they tend to suit me better, but this one looks great if your going to a party or out for a meal, (if you do wear it for a meal remember to wear Lipcote so your lipstick doesn't stray)!
I like to save the best until last so here it is, I was searching through the Boots website and noticed a new brand that I hadn't recognised before featured on the homepage, so I decided to take a look, Make-up Obsession's new customised palette is just what you need if you hate having to carry around four different palettes for all different uses. The concept of the idea is that you can choose blush, highlighter, contour and eye shadow in the same palette choosing whatever colours you wish, the colours are inter-changeable and you buy the palette separately.
I was overall very impressed with the pigmentation of the colours and thought that the idea was smart so I decided to buy a palette with six spaces and let me just say this, the pigmentation of the powders were out of this world, not to mention the strobing cream that was totally gorgeous!

I hope that you found this post helpful or interesting in some way, I really enjoyed working on it. Let me know if there are any products that you have been loving recently and I may give it a go, also if you have tried any of these items let me know what you think of them in the comments.
