THE WET BRUSH REVIEW.

21/8/2015

Hair brushes, it's hard to find the perfect one, you can go through ten still without finding a decent one that isn't going to pull out clumps of your hair every time you brush!
I'm here to help you make a decision, Americas #1 hairbrush is hitting the UK. With it's positive feedback and happy costumers, it's time for them to expand.
I am going to be reviewing, The Wet Brush which has been kindly sent to me to review for my honest view on my blog.
Picture
We all know that hair is all tangled and delicate when it's wet, but, we are supposed to brush it so that it dries nice and smooth, with no horrible clumps!
The Wet Brush is designed to be used on wet hair, well, duh Liv :D. Anyway, the wet brush is a bit like the tangle teaser, but not the same.
The wet brush has soft bristles like the tangle teaser and will glide through your hair smoothly with only a few tingling sensations, rather than being dragged through your hair, pulling out clumps.
So... What makes the wet brush different from the tangle teaser?
Picture
Picture
The design is much different, with the wet brush there is a handle, with a wide bottom, the handle is also rubber coated making it very easy to grip, and perfect for young children.
Personally I much prefer a brush with a handle on it!
Picture
The bristles have "intelligent flexibility", "flexible on the stroke, and firm on the next." Wow! Sounds brilliant right?
Picture
It also works great as an every day brush on dry hair, it is still very soft on dry hair and I will admit, it's even softer than the tangle teaser.
It's really hard for me to find flaws with this brush, it's £11.99, and I'm not really big on hair so I probably wouldn't buy it unless it was on sale.
The wet brush comes in all sorts of different, shapes, sizes, patterns and designs.

SPLENDID SMOOTHIE FOR FLAWLESS BEAUTY....

21/8/2015

Feeling good comes with eating well, one of the new crazes lately is fruit and veg smoothies.
I have put together an extremely healthy smoothie recipe with massive health benefits, after all of my research I think that I finally have the right mix of ingredients.

Here's what you will need for this magical recipe:
Picture

Firstly you are going to want a banana. Bananas include a variety of different vitamins and minerals, including protein, vitamin C, vitamin B6 and more.
They also really help to sustain your blood pressure and are high in potassium and low in salt!
Picture
Picture
Peel and break your banana into four then simply place it into the blender, but don't blend yet, we've only just got started!

Now it's time for those all important strawberries, loved by many because of their sweet original taste, and known as a great health source.
Classed as a 'Super Food' strawberries are packed with antioxidants and really help to boost immunity.
Picture
Stick four strawberries straight in with the banana, no need to chop of the green bits (they don't hurt)...

Blueberries are not very tasteful, but they are certainly high in vitamin C, a one-cup serving of blueberry contains 24% of your daily recommended vitamin C intake.
Picture
Pop roughly 25 blueberries into the blender.

Honeydew melon is very sweet and juicy, it's also very effective in containing good blood pressure levels, honeydew contains both vitamin C and copper, they promote healthy skin by aiding collagen production and tissue repair.
Picture
Use a quarter of Honeydew melon and cut it up into slices, then pop it into the blender.

Spinach is widely known for muscular development, thanks to Pop-eye. But they also have many nutrients, and are very low calorie.
Picture
Grab a handful and pop it straight into the blender.

Cucumber... What can I say... It's packed with vitamin B, hydrates the body and helps to fight three cancers.
So what are you waiting for, bung it straight into that blender!
Picture
Chop up around a Quarter.

Finally we have, da da da da... Drum-roll please, MILK!
Milk is very high in calcium, helping to keep our bones nice and strong, it gives the smoothie a nice creamy touch and helps the smoothie to liquidize easier.
Picture
Pour around 1/4 of a pint into the blender.

So were all set to blend, now watch your smoothie transform from this:

To this:

Now your ready to pour it straight into a glass, drink up and wait for the magic to happen.
If you repeat this recipe and have a little bit of smoothie everyday you will definitely start to see a visible difference in the appearance of your skin and the way you feel.

So, what's your favorite smoothie blend, leave your answers in the comments so I can try them out too!

A FEW CHANGES....

19/8/2015

Hello everyone,
As you may have noticed, my site has undertaken a mahoosive makeover!
The reason for this big step is because I thought that my old image was getting boring so I decided to spruce it up a bit, and I can tell you that I am delighted with the final image!
I have a new logo, created by me, it took me a good few hours to do all the editing but well worth it:
Picture
The biggest change in my blog is my new theme change, I went from something big and in your face for something, nice and subtle but not quiet and boring.
I will also be blogging much more, and the quality of my blog has improved massively.

So, I hope you like the changes, let me know in the comments what you think to all the new and exciting differences.

silk Fibre brow enhancer review

5/8/2015

Eyebrows... the feature that frames your face, the feature that for me is the most important.
Today I am going to be reviewing an initiative and well- known brow product called, Silk Fibre Brow Enhancer by the company, Silk Oil of Morroco.
Picture
Picture
The packaging of the pot is small and sleek, good to fit in your handbag if your in a hurry, another benefit of the brow enhancer is that it takes just seconds to apply literally! It took me about ten seconds to put on, then it takes 60 seconds to set, but as long as you don't touch your brows for a minute then you are good to go.
Picture
Picture
The Brow Enhancer is an instant brush on brow extension, the extension however blends in nicely without giving an over the top look because hundreds of minute fibres set on the skin to give a real brow look.
Picture
The bottle is 4g and lasts up to 120 applications! The Brow Enhancer is a life saver for anyone with thin or thinning eyebrows, also if you've over plucked, well here's your savior.
Picture
The Enhancer is available in five different colors, mine is dark (2nd from the darkest).
Picture
Picture
The brush is like a lip gloss applicator, this is because you use the thicker side to glide up to the arch of your eyebrow and then the thin end to glide back down your brow.
Picture
Picture
From the before and after pictures above you can really see what a difference it makes, especially with lengthening and thickening of the brows.
I would certainly buy this in future, the only con about the product is that there is quite a lot of fall out, but can be easily swept off with a fan brush.
The Fibre Brow Enhancer retails at £19.99 in Boots:

However they do not stock the extra light option so for the extra light you can order it from their website for $29.95:
