                                        ERMANA SKINCARE REVIEW

23/5/2016

Today I am going to be reviewing a few items from the UK based beauty and aromatherapy company named Ermana.
Ermana was first started up by Claire (the owner), mixing different essential oils up and making various different potions and lotions out of purely organic, high quality ingredients. Claire began to start giving the items that she had made as gifts to her friends and family, she had great feedback, and so she went back to college to study anatomy and phycology, aromatherapy and natural skincare.
The company is called Ermana because her sister was very supportive with helping her on her journey of setting up her skincare company, hermana means sister in Spanish and Ermana is taken from tis word.
Every Ermana product has undertaken cosmetic testing, but not with animals and contains organic ingredients.

The three balms that I have been sent to review come in very good quality packaging in glass jars, and the design is absolutely stunning.

Made from cocoa, Shea and coconut butters. Hand blended with sweet almond oil and beeswax and infused with refreshing grapefruit pure essential oil, the refresh lip balm has all you need for super soft, nourished and healthy lips.
I am very pleased with the refresh lip balm as a little bit goes a long way, and so I can tell that this is going to last me a long time, I have only been using it for a couple of weeks now and have barely scratched the surface!
The rich smell of shea butter is really alluring and it has a thick texture with a sheer appearance.
I would recommend this to anybody with dry, chapped or sensitive lips.
It can be found on their website here:

I tried the Cleanse balm from Ermana and the results I am so pleased with. I was honestly so happy to have procured this and I can say that I’ll be using it as often as I can. The shea butter and beeswax adds to the soft texture as well as the coconut oil, sweet almond oil and the cocoa butter. The subtle scent of grapefruit really helps with the refreshing feeling after applying it. It is suitable for all skin types, which really helped as I have dry skin and the cleanse balm really helped with that, and is exceptionally helpful in restoring and toning the skin.
The cleanse balm can be found on their website here:

Ermana comfort balm is ideal for customers with dry and rough skin. This softening blend of natural butters hydrates softens and protect the skin where dry skin is present, such as the lips, knees and elbows. The comforting blend of ingredients include shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, beeswax, lavender, geranium oil and ylang ylang oil, all of which contributes to the softening texture of this comfort balm. I would recommend this for anyone with dry or rough skin. I will definitely be using this product often in the future.
You can find the product here:

Overall I was very pleased with all three of the products sent to me from Ermana, my favourite one of the three is probably the refresh lip balm because it just sends a surge of moisture through my lips and they feel extremely soft.
I hope you found this review helpful and let me know if you've tried any products from Ermana and what you think of them.

                                             PURE POTIONS REVIEW

Today I am going to be talking to you about two of the creams that I have received from a skincare company named Pure Potions.
Firstly I am going to tell you a little bit about the company and why it was set up.
Pure potions was founded by Natalie Balmond, a mother trying to find some formulations of cream to help her daughter's extremely dry and itchy skin, as her daughter suffers from chronic eczema.
After several attempts of using various different creams, including ones prescribed by the doctor, nothing seemed to be the perfect formula.
Natalie began to experiment with different oils and ingredients in the kitchen, until she found a formulation that worked really well on her daughters skin. After that she decided to share this miracle cream by setting up a company based around eczema and dry skin conditions.

Firstly I will be talking to you about the intensive hand cream. This cream helps to maintain healthy skin and prevent your hands from becoming sore or broken, it is un fragranced, soothing, gentle and full of moisture.
There are no unnecessary ingredients or harsh chemicals in this cream (or any of the Pure Potions products), it's key ingredients are, sea buckthorn, shea butter and hemp seed oil. Other ingredients are chickweed, calendula, chamomile and nettle.

This hand cream is vegan friendly, doesn't test on animals, is suitable for babies, is nut free and all of the ingredients are completely organic, can it get any better?
I go to gymnastics class and often find my hands becoming dry, and skin peeling off from practice on the uneven bars, since I have been using this hand cream my hands have become much softer and feel silkier. I apply this hand cream four to six times a day. It smells amazing and all of my friends love it too!
The Intensive Hand Cream is £10.99 and can be found here:

The Skin Salvation Daily Moisturizing Cream has been a life saver for me.
This moisturizer is free from parabens,  petro-chemicals and perfumes, this makes it even better for dry and sensitive skin.
Again this cream is suitable for babies, al of the ingredients are organic, it is suitable for all areas of the body, it's soft and gentle, vegan friendly, doesn't test on animals and all of the ingredients are organic. Phew, that was a long sentence!
Key ingredients are, shea butter, chamomile, nettle, calendula and chickweed.

I often suffer from small patches of dry and flaky skin on my face, and eczema on the inside of my elbow. Since using this moisturizer I have 100% noticed the eczema on the other side of my elbow disappear, and the flaky, dry skin on my face has definitely become much better. I apply this cream once a day before going to bed, so that the moisturizer has time to be absorbed into my skin, leaving me with a fresh and hydrated feel in the morning.
For a 100ml bottle it costs £13.99, and for a 400ml bottle it costs £34.99, it can be found here:

I hope you all enjoyed this review and found it helpful, I was very happy with the two items that I have been testing out for Pure Potions, let me know what your skin hydration remedy is, and if you've ever tried anything from Pure Potions.
